Kivotos Mykonos, the first boutique Hotel in Greece, opened its gates in 1993 and since then it has accommodated many Celebrities and people of great influence. It is located in the well-known sandy beach of Ornos, in Mykonos, and it is a perfect option for guests seeking relaxation and privacy paired with luxurious accommodation. It consists of 40 Suites and Villas, 2 restaurants and a Spa. Among the curated experiences it offers are private dining on the beach at Nero-Nero and sailing with the 25 meters privately owned yacht “Prince de Naufchatel”.
Your Role, Your Manager, Your Colleagues
This role gives you the opportunity to work in our distinguished restaurants and be part of the unique culinary experience we offer to our guests. Your job position is referring to a sociable and helpful Restaurant Captain and your colleagues are a mix of energetic and giving personalities who are passionate of offering memorable experiences to our guests.
A typical day at work looks like:
- Making our guests’ day with your heartfelt smile.
- Receiving food and drink orders and making sure all guests’ needs are met.
- Elegantly serving our guests, asking their feedback and making sure they enjoy their meal.
- Ensuring all charges are correct and properly presented to the guests the right moment.
- Retaining the magic in the atmosphere by setting up the right elements (taking care of the right volume of the music or lighting up the candle lights).
- Contributing in your team’s high morale by caring about their thoughts and feelings.
- Keeping your workplace a pleasant and safe environment for everyone to work.
- Being a shining star in our numerous guest reviews.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- A big smile and positive energy
- A people centric philosophy
- An excellent knowledge of English language, both spoken and written
- A minimum experience of 3 seasons in a similar position
- Wine Certification or Expertise and Micros POS knowledge will be an asset
- A willingness to contribute in a highly motivated team
